I am a 37-year-old mother of three boys. After reading “The Purpose Driven Life” I felt a conviction to buy this URL.  I was separated from my husband for 3.5 years, looking for a miracle to save my marriage. The relationship I was trying to save was fraught with abuse, loneliness and despair. For the longest time, I was trapped with that secret. From the outside we looked like the perfect, happy couple, until we traveled to Spain.

On our return flight from a Thanksgiving holiday, we had a very short layover in Paris. We had to run to the gate, but when we were almost there, my husband abandoned me and our three young children. As I screamed his name across the airport, the airline crew told me to make a choice. Either I could get on the plane without him, or stay behind. The next flight was 24-hours later and I did not have enough diapers or food for my infant. We would also have to incur the extra charge for changing the flight. “We are getting on the plane.” My oldest son (8 years old) was in tears. “He is a big boy. Daddy will be fine” I reassured him.

When we arrived back at home, there was an angry message for me. “How could you leave me?” He was angry that I got on the plane, and still angry when I picked him up the next day at the airport. The pain was too much to bear.

If you find yourself in a relationship that you are unable to talk about, please reach out. You are not alone.

Dear God,
Thank You for the opportunity to use this blog to reach other hurting people. I have found fellowship in the company of believers and I hope to provide a similar source of strength for those in the midst of marital trials. I also wish to provide comfort to those seeking to be married. Please Lord, provide me with wisdom as I write so as to impart guidance from You. Help us to turn to You for the grace You have planned for our lives and to have patience to wait for those miracles.
In the name of Jesus, I pray,
